Chance Bruce - November 2009 Pet of the Month

We are pleased to announce that Chance Bruce is the Winter Animal Hospital Pet of the Month for November.

Sadly, Chance lost his big brother, Cherub to cancer earlier this month (check out the wonderful eulogy and slide show put together by Carrie Bruce, Cherub and Chance's mama/caretaker).

As  noted in that eulogy, Cherub had been Carrie's only "child" until August 2006 when she and Cherub rescued his brother (another Golden Retriever) named, "Chance." Cherub and his mama both knew they were taking a "chance" getting another dog.  What better way to honor Chance for his enduring love for his big brother Cherub than to name him Pet of the Month.

Cherub's family appreciates all the love, support, prayers, care and friendship shown by everyone at Winter Animal Hospital and for the honor naming Chance pet of the month.
