2009 and earlier Pets of the Month
The staff at Winter Animal Hospital have almost as much fun as
pet owners when it comes to naming the pet of the month and then
giving pet owners a chance to show off their dogs and cats.
The following links take you to separate pages created for previous

C.J. Hall - June 2009 Pet of the Month

C.J. was named after a Jeep I owned many
years ago. A jeep is otherwise called a C.J. (Civilian Jeep). I
got C.J. as a pup from the pound in Tallahassee, he is my first
dog. C.J. is now about 7-8 years old. He does a great job
guarding the house and our family. He makes it his job to
announce anyone and everyone’s presence. He is the first
of our family to greet you at the gate and welcome you in.
He has welcomed our new addition to the family and watches over
her just as he does us. He is great dog and when he goes to camp
(vet/boarding) the house feels empty with out him.
C.J. is a great addition to our family. He
has mastered a few tricks like sit, shake, lay down, go to bed,
come here and wanna cookie; but he still has problems with fetch
and roll over.
We love C.J. and are glad he has earned the
honor of pet of the month. We just hope it doesn’t go to
his head.
Thank you to Dr. Greg, Dr. Tera and the staff
at Winter Animal Hospital for the wonderful care they have
provided C.J.

Kona Wolfe - November 2008 Pet of the Month
We are pleased to announce that Kona, a 13 year old female
Chocolate Lab is the Winter Animal Hospital Pet of the Month for
November 2008.
Kona's Mom, Kim Wolfe writes the following:
She (Kona) was just a puppy when my husband and I were married so
she and our daughter, Madison have grown up together. She is a great
dog with an even better attitude.
She was recently diagnosed with bone cancer which is the reason
for the cast she is wearing. She doesn't let it stop her from trying
to play with the other dogs we have, although we have to be careful
she doesn't knock one of them out with the cast!!
She is a fantastic family pet and we hope everyone gets the
chance to own a pet as special as Kona.
Thanks to the folks at Winter Animal Hospital for all they have
done so that Kona can remain a part of our family.
The Wolfe Family ( Kim, Joe and Madison)
We couldn't have said it better ourselves Kim!
Putty Osborne - August 2008 Pet of the Month
We are pleased to announce that Putty Osborne is the August Pet
of the Month here at Winter Animal Hospital.
Putty is an 11 year old Shar-Pei. She has lived with her
owner/care giver, Paul Osborne, for 8 years. Putty came to
live with Paul when he moved to Tallahassee to go to FSU.
It is apparent that the two of them have bonded.
